When Awakening Stops Being a Search and Becomes a Return.

When Awakening Stops Being a Search and Becomes a Return.

We live in times when personal growth has become a rush, when spirituality has become an image, and healing has become a goal on the horizon, as if there were a place we must go to finally be ourselves.

But there is a quieter movement happening. A return.

Not to the past, but to something more intimate, more authentic, more real. A listening that takes place within. An encounter that no longer seeks answers, but presence. A life that no longer needs to appear pretty, it just needs to be true.

This text is about that path. A path that is less about conquest... and more about home. Less about "achieving something" and more about remembering who we are. It is a text born from my own journey, within my body, my soul, and the many versions of myself that I have released in order to return.

The principle of the journey: listening as an act of courage.

For a long time, I confused the path with the effort. I tried to heal quickly. To understand everything with my mind. Being "light" even on days when the shadow spoke loudest. But true healing only began when I stopped running away... and started listening.

Listening is different from analyzing. It's different from understanding. It's different from resolving.

Listening is sitting next to what hurts and not trying to fix it, just being. It's allowing the emotion to exist. It's stopping rationalizing the soul. And when that happens, something inside begins to reorganize itself... as if the body were saying: "Now, yes, I can trust."

This trust doesn't come from force. It comes from tenderness.

The four pillars: the heart of the new inner reality.

Going through listening gave birth to four words within me that became foundations. They aren't concepts, they are internal, lived, organic practices. They are: Experience, Transparency, Patience, and Resilience.

1. Experience — the act of being fully present in the experience.

Experiencing is different from interpreting. It's giving body to what you feel, even when you don't understand it.

For a long time, my emotions were a problem to be solved. Today, I realize they are portals, invitations to return to parts of myself that were forgotten. Living with experience means not cutting. It means not running away. It means being whole... even in chaos.

It's not about being strong.

It's about being honest with what lives inside you.

2. Transparency — the courage not to pretend.

Transparency isn't about telling everyone everything. It's about aligning what you feel with what you express.

It's about not forcing an "it's okay" when something inside you screams for silence. It's about recognizing that there are days when the soul needs to gather itself, and that this, too, is spirituality.

Transparency is when you drop the mask of perfection and embrace your humanity. And in that act, something liberating happens:

You no longer need to act.

You just need to be.

3. Patience — the sacred time of the journey.

No flower is in a hurry. No root grows screaming.

The soul has its own rhythm. And often, it's different from what the ego desires. Patience isn't passivity, it's trust. It's knowing that the invisible is also at work. That there are seeds germinating even when you see nothing on the surface.

Respecting the soul's timing is an act of profound love.

It's resting within life.

Even when you don't yet know what comes next.

4. Resilience — the rebirth that comes from wholeness.

For a long time, I confused resilience with resistance. I believed that being resilient meant being unshakable.

Today I see that true resilience is allowing yourself to be shaken and still continue with tenderness. It's falling apart and coming back together… but without forcing yourself. It's giving time to rebuild. It's being reborn with more listening than before.

Resilience isn't hardening.

It's blossoming from a place where everything seemed to have collapsed.

It was from this intimate space that Atravessar para Despertar (Crossing to Awaken) was born, an eBook where I share in-depth insights into these four transformative words. Four spiritual seeds. Four invitations to reconnect with yourself. The eBook is now available (language: portuguese), purchase directly via Whatsapp.

A phrase like a vibrational password.

In the process of writing and immersing myself in this experience, a phrase emerged that became an inner mantra. A small but complete prayer:

"Observing experiences with transparency and patience leads us to resilience."

Each word of this phrase is a thread of consciousness. And when I repeat it — silently, softly, in my thoughts — everything within me begins to align.

• Observe
• Experience
• Be transparent
• Respect time
• Be reborn

This is not a phrase to memorize. It's a phrase to inhabit. A code that activates whenever chaos threatens, whenever doubt arrives. It reminds me: there's nothing wrong with feeling. There's beauty in the entire journey.

When the return happens: "I am in me... and that's enough."

The quietest part of the journey, and perhaps the most profound, happened when I realized I no longer needed to chase healing, identity, or place.

Because… I was the place. I always was.

In that moment, the inner noise ceased. Not because everything was resolved, but because something inside me stopped fighting. And when you stop abandoning yourself… everything changes.

Awakening, after all, doesn't happen with lights and celebrations. It happens with a whisper. With a morning when your body breathes differently. With that sacred moment when you look in the mirror and think:

"I am myself, and that… is enough."

The awakening people: roots, constellations, silence.

There are people waking up. And often, it's invisible.

They are silent people. Who don't need a stage, nor a spiritual title. Who don't present themselves as "gurus," but as human beings. Who listen more than they speak. Who feel more than they show.

They are people who:

• Don't hide from emotion.

• Don't ignore fatigue.

• Don't separate spirituality from humanity.

They are roots that sustain the new forest.

Small fires that ignite constellations.

Seeds that germinate silently, but firmly.

And when they meet, even in silence... the world changes. Not on the outside, but on the inside.

And when life asks for a crossing again...

Because it will ask. It always asks.

We will doubt again. We will tire. We will fall a little.

But in that moment, may you listen to the wisest voice within you. The one that whispers:

"You've been through this before. You know how to blossom in the dark."

And no one can take that wisdom from you. It's engraved on your body. In your silences. In your simplest gestures.

An invitation with roots.

This article isn't a solution. It's not a map. It's just a mirror.

A mirror of what we so often forget:

That we are whole, even when we're not sure.

That the soul isn't meant to be resolved, it's meant to be inhabited.

That the path always begins in the same place: within.

May you choose a spirituality that doesn't flaunt itself, but sustains you. May you look at yourself with more tender eyes. And when the world demands haste, demands, answers... May you simply say:

"Today, I choose to live slowly.
To listen truthfully.
To be whole.
Even when I don't know."
