Kybalion Lesson 6: Polarity and Rhythm - Understanding to Transcend.

The Kybalion Lesson 6: Polarity and Rhythm - Understanding to Transcend.

Welcome to our Kybalion class number 6! For this class, I decided to present two laws at once: Polarity and Rhythm! Since they are intertwined laws, we can understand them better without separating them.

Before we begin, let's review these two important Hermetic principles as discussed in our previous classes:

The Principle of Polarity teaches that everything is two poles of the same thing. For example: Love and Hate are one thing experienced at different extremes. The center is unconditional love; unhealthy love transcends this. Hate, on the other hand, can only exist because we first love deeply. Whether it's a cause, an idea, or a person we've been disappointed by, all hate comes from love.

The Principle of Rhythm, simply put, shows us that the universe is always shaking people up. This is for us to evolve and not remain stagnant like a frog in a pond. However, we can use the higher laws to reach a state of mind where the Pendulum won't take us with it. In today's article, we'll study for this!

Come with me as we analyze these important Hermetic laws in a practical and also slightly poetic way! Always remembering that I bring here my perspective on the book The Kybalion. I share it because perhaps it will resonate with your hearts.

The Principle of Polarity and the Existence of Infinity. ๐ŸŒŒ

"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its opposite; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are half-truths; all paradoxes can be reconciled." - THE KYBALION -

It is not possible: to feel cold without the existence of heat; to know what love is without knowing lovelessness; to allow infinity without experiencing the finite.

There is no cold without heat, no hate without love, no end without infinity. Opposites are parts of a single whole experienced in varying degrees. Polarities are necessary for the center to know itself.

Polarity and Free Will.

An ocean wave can only experience itself as a drop by temporarily "separating" itself from the ocean and observing its surroundings from a new perspective: the perspective of the ocean's absence.

The experience of polarities may sometimes seem sad, but it is the ocean's love, allowing the drop to exist. It is free will in action, allowing infinite possibilities to exist.

The Principle of Rhythm and the Pendulum of Life. ๐ŸŒŠ

"Everything ebbs and flows; everything has its tides; everything rises and falls; everything manifests by balanced oscillations; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm is the compensation." - THE KYBALION -

This law intertwines with the law of polarities. The pendulum of life carries us back and forth through events we judge as good and bad. Thus, we experience the degrees of existence. As a consequence, our emotions also swing. Or vice versa, after all, emotions create what we experience!

The function of this Principle is to create experience, to flow. In stagnation, there is also no experience. The life hack is to know that this swing is fleeting, so we don't feed it. In other words, we don't take it personally and get emotionally involved with this swing. Consequently, we don't create more of what we judge to be bad.

Accept the Flow and Wait for the Ebb.

The law of rhythm is there to make your world move, not to make it fall. He who runs with the wind doesn't fall.

Don't think you're being punished, don't intensify a storm that was supposed to be fleeting. Let it flow. Trust that the sun will come. Trust, just as you know that no rain lasts forever. ☂️

What has my Atypical Brain taught me about Polarities and the Law of Rhythm?

I think I've mentioned in a few posts that I'm a super intense person. Sometimes I feel like the Kybalion itself in practice.

Sometimes everything is beautiful, and you want to skip around, and sometimes everything is sad, and you want to cry until you have no more tears left.

The strangest thing is when we use up all our emotions and end up in a state of apathy and disconnection from reality.

Do you know what I learned from this? That the saddest feeling isn't sadness. The saddest feeling is not feeling. It's feeling like it doesn't matter. Feeling that nothing is bad and that the good doesn't matter either.

If you ask me why I think God created the experience of polarities and the law of rhythm, my answer would be this: to be the Whole and not the Void.

The Whole has its "pains," but the Void hurts much more.

Poem of the Law of Polarities: My Inverted Love. ๐Ÿ’”

"It's not because I hold a grudge, it's because I Loved Too Much.

For a long time, I blamed myself for harboring frustration with the world.
Until I realized that this indignation was as great as my expectations.
And my expectations were as great as my Love.

Then almost all that thwarted Love turned into pain, anger, fear, sadness...

If resentment is Love that found no place to blossom...
So, I really kept it.

I kept it, but I don't keep it anymore!
Because now I give this love to me and those who wants it.
For those who rejoice with him and multiply.
So, it blooms! ๐ŸŒป

How I wish I had learned it before.
Love only transforms, it never disappears." ๐Ÿฆ‹
