The Kybalion Lesson 7: Cause and Effect & Gender Principle - The Secret to Awakening.

The Principle of Cause and Effect, described in The Kybalion, teaches that we reap what we sow... every effect has a cause, and every action has a reaction. Whether in the physical, mental, or spiritual world.

We reap what we sow; it's not just about what we cause to "others" (remember, we are not separate). We also reap what we sow in our subconscious mind.

The Principle of Gender plays a role in this whole story. Therefore, we will study these two Hermetic Principles together.

As explained in our previous articles, this principle is NOT about sexual gender. It states that everything in the Universe possesses both feminine and masculine energies. From atoms and people to planets and Gods.

"Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes." - THE KYBALION

In today's Kybalion class, we'll focus on Mental Gender, how the Principle of Gender works practically in our brain and in the creation of our reality. This is where it intertwines with the Law of Cause and Effect, "planting" and generating incredible things and others not so much.

🔃 Cause and Effect and the Principle of Gender - Where They Connect.

We can draw an analogy here with psychology. This science, which studies the mind, has already discovered that we have something called the subconscious. As mentioned earlier, it is the one that receives what we "plant."

Subconscious means, roughly speaking, "hidden," as we are not completely conscious/aware of all the programming inserted into our brain. 🧠

And how is this programming inserted?

Through the beliefs formed by our conscious mind and the emotional charge of each experience. (This is where the Law of Vibration, which we studied in Lesson #5 of The Kybalion, comes into play. The subconscious is responsible for the vibration/energetic signature we emit.) Therefore, our conscious mind "records/learns" what will be suggested/inserted into our subconscious. It records the "program" that will run in our lives.

"Knowledge of Vibration and Mental Gender is even more necessary for the student of Suggestion. For the entire principle of Suggestion depends on the principle of Mental Gender and Vibration." - THE KYBALION

☯️ Principle of Gender on the Mental Plane.

Analyzing now through Hermetic philosophy: our conscious mind possesses MASCULINE energy, active and rational. The subconscious mind possesses FEMININE energy, passive and intuitive.

The MASCULINE observes the world and nurtures what will be planted in our FEMININE (Subconscious).

Or we could also say... it is behind the "germination" of the CAUSE that will become the EFFECT in the form of creation. 🌱🌳

NOTE: Both energies are important for the functioning of the Universe; neither is better than the other.

🌟 The True Awakening of Consciousness.

By fully awakening to the truth about our creations (it's not believing, it's being CERTAIN), we regain control of our Divine power. We begin to use this Masculine and analytical Consciousness to our advantage, defining what kind of beliefs we will agree with, nurture, and engrave. In other words, we take control of what we plant and reap from that point forward.

Our Subconscious/Feminine begins to be seen and embraced. We observe the world as a reflection of what is engraved there, and not as random circumstances without a CAUSE for that EFFECT. This is where everything connects!

"Every Cause has its Effect, every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is simply a name given to an unrecognized Law; there are many planes of causality, but nothing escapes Law." - THE KYBALION

And what about the old "recordings"?

By observing the EFFECT as CAUSE and knowing that it is only our subconscious showing us what we have recorded in it... we understand that circumstances are not punishing us, but rather reflecting what needs to be seen and healed.

This small step initiates a great transformation, as it stops feeding the old frequency and allows transmutation through lucidity and love.

Healing can come simply from understanding that we hold onto something that no longer serves us. Other times, we need to observe with compassion, cry, and release. Releasing opens space for the creation of the new. It opens space for the manifestation of the Divine.

However, each change has its own germination time. It depends on each person's subconscious. If it takes a while, don't think it's your fault or that nothing is changing. I suggest reading our Lesson 4. In fact, each lesson complements the other.

🔑 The Secret of Mental Alchemy.

By aligning our emotional (Yin) with our rational (Yang), we become Masters of Mental Alchemy, bringing light to a system that was on autopilot and without direction. ❤️‍🔥

Just as we create our reality, we are also the ones who empower or disempower ourselves. The certainty that we are the "higher" intelligence, observing the mechanism of reality "from above," restores the magic of life to us. Being lucid in experience means returning control to our true essence (Higher Self/Divine Spark/I AM).

By achieving full lucidity about the Hermetic Principles and our divine nature, we can dissolve beliefs and create a world consistent with the truth and love that WE ARE.

This was our last Kybalion class! I learned more about the book as I wrote each blog post. I hope my perspective can add value to your studies. Take to heart what makes you happy and meaningful.

Despite writing about the laws, I find myself constantly learning. I feel I must follow what I write more intensely. I reinforce my responsibility to myself here. And I invite you to practice what we have learned.
