Practical Self-Mastery Course - LESSON 07: "Removing the Veils of Illusion".

Dear alchemists, today will be a little different from our previous classes. 🧙‍♀️

We will analyze some insights and teachings shared in a parable, something Sananda loves to do and which always brings us several layers of knowledge.

In the last class, we understood how our mental schemas and emotional patterns construct our reality, and we learned the practical principles for conscious manifestation. Today, we will delve into something even deeper: the process of removing the layers of ego that separate us from our true divine essence.

If you have ever felt that there is something more within you — a light that is covered by layers and layers of conditioning — this parable will touch your soul in a transformative way.

The Parable of the Veils of Reality.

"A girl of great beauty was hidden beneath a thick gray veil on which an ugly face was painted. Thus, the truth of her being was kept secret, and few dared to approach her because of her unattractive appearance.

She grew up and realized that the cause of her loneliness and sadness, the loss of her freedom of movement and health, was due to the veils. However, she was so accustomed to that situation that she believed it was impossible to survive without them.

However, she was fortunate enough to find an "enlightened mentor" from another country and was finally convinced to discard at least one veil. After much searching for the inner strength to do so, she begged her mentor to help her. He lifted her hands, and together they removed the veil on which the ugly face was painted.

She felt much better for having done that. She began to feel a certain joy. After a while, she was eager to discard another veil, and again her mentor came and helped her remove it. And so it continued.

The more veils she removed, the more..." Light grew lighter, and gradually she glimpsed the reality of the nature surrounding her, able to see the trees clearly, the birds in the branches, and listening with enchantment to their marvelous songs. She saw the beauty in the faces of others and began to feel the flow of love in her heart. Life was now transforming into a truly divine gift to be appreciated.

Daily, she thanked her mentor for helping her transform into such a happy person. Finally, the time came when she could no longer bear the last veil that enveloped her. She knew that this veil was separating her from light, beauty, harmony, and loving contact with other beautiful people. Although she didn't know how she could manage without it, she silently withdrew with her mentor and asked that the last veil be removed.

That was a time of agony, as the veil seemed to be part of her being. But she asked and pleaded, and in a moment of brilliant light, the veil burned and detached itself from her. The form that remained was her reality, and she entered into perfect freedom. interior.

However, her individualized reality now had to find a way to function within the environment. This was unexpectedly difficult, as her perception of reality around her and within her was so clear and transcendent that it had radically changed her communication with others. She was no longer at peace in her social and professional environment, nor could she remain a member of her society.

People looked at her and said, "Oh, is that what you're like? You don't have a veil? How awful! We find you very strange, even a little crazy," and they turned their backs on her.

What do you think she did? Did she return to the time when she wore veils as heavy as the others? No. She had found such peace, joy, and satisfaction of her needs that she left her community and withdrew, joining other souls who recognized her true identity and responded to her with joy and love.

Unveiling the Mysteries of the Parable.

This story is an initiatory gem that reveals the profound stages of the journey of Self-Mastery. Let's explore its alchemical dimensions to understand what Sananda is teaching us.

🌒 The Symbol of the Veils: The Layers of the Ego

The veils represent the layers of the ego — masks created to protect us from pain, but which end up distancing us from our essence. Each time the girl removes a veil, she dissolves an energetic crystallization and recovers a piece of her own light.

In spiritual practice, this equates to the processes of purification, emotional healing, and mental reprogramming — steps in the alchemical transmutation of lead into gold.

The veils are:

🔸 Limiting beliefs inherited from family and society

🔸 Unprocessed emotional traumas

🔸 Conditioned behavioral patterns

🔸 Fears that keep us trapped in our comfort zone

🔸 The very illusion of separation from the Source

🌓 The Restored Vision: The Awakening of Consciousness

By removing the veils, she begins to see the world as it is: the trees, the birds, the faces of others. This vision is the gaze of the awakened soul, which sees beauty and unity in everything.

The external hasn't changed — what has changed is her vibrational state. She ascends from limited perception (mind) to expanded perception (Christ consciousness).

This reminds us of what we learned in previous lessons: as within, so without.

External reality is always a reflection of the inner state. When we cleanse our inner perception, the entire world transforms before our eyes.

The Three Stages of Transmutation.

🌑 First Stage: The Last Veil — Total Surrender

The last veil symbolizes the most subtle and profound illusion: the belief that "I" and "the Divine" are two. Even after healing pains and beliefs, a subtlety remains — the attachment to the very idea of ​​"spiritual self".

Removing this veil is dying to the old self and being born into Oneness. It is the point where there is no more seeking, only presence.

Note in the parable that this last veil "seemed to be part of his being".

This is the deepest identification of the ego — the belief that we are separate from the Source, that there is an "I" here and "God" out there.

🌔 Second Stage: Silence and the Mentor — Conscious Surrender

She withdraws in silence, because this act is not rational — it is mystical.

The mentor represents Higher Consciousness, the Inner Christ, or the guide who mirrors the very light that already dwells within her.

The true master gives nothing from the outside, only helps to remove what prevents the soul from shining.

The request to remove the veil is the moment of conscious surrender. She recognizes that, alone, she cannot do it — and thus, opens space for grace to act.

When the ego surrenders, the Spirit takes over. And at that instant, everything that was a veil is transformed into light through transmutation by fire.

🌕 Third Stage: The Pain of Detachment — The Fire of Final Purification

"That was a time of agony" — this phrase reveals a truth that many spiritual paths do not clearly explain: the last veil is not just a mask, it is the very structure of identity.

When it burns, the ego dissolves — and this inner death is luminous and, at the same time, painful. The soul, upon touching the truth of its being, must die to everything it believed itself to be.

This sacred fire is the same as the violet flame of alchemy: it destroys the false to liberate the real. It is a mystical death — not physical, but equally profound. It is the birth of Christ consciousness within you.

The Judgment of the World and Fidelity to the Light.

🔮 The Mirror of Collective Unconsciousness

"There's no veil? How awful! We find you very strange, even a little crazy."

When the soul awakens, the sleeping world reacts. People project fear and strangeness onto what they do not understand, calling "madness" what is, in fact, freedom.

This is the voice of the collective ego, which fears the reflection of its own inner nakedness. Those who are not ready for the truth fear those who live it.

This moment in the parable teaches us something crucial: the path to Self-Mastery is not about pleasing others or conforming to social expectations. It's about being true to your own divine truth.
