Practical Course in Self-Mastery - LESSON 08: "On the Way to the Kingdom of Heaven".

The Revelation of Hidden Secrets.

"It has been said of the Messiah that He will reveal the secrets that have been hidden since the beginning of creation. Truly, I say that you will hear these secrets from me. If you listen carefully, understand their meaning, practice their truth, and adhere to their laws, you will be transformed into new men and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

It is with these words of our Master Sananda that we begin a new lesson in the Self-Mastery Course, now advancing to a higher level of understanding.

In bringing them forth, He not only announces the revelation of ancient secrets, hidden since the beginning of creation, but also gives us a clear key: to hear, understand, practice, and live the truth. Not as a concept, but as an experience.

Sananda shows us, once again, that He is the way, the truth, and the life — not as an external destination to be reached, but as a state of consciousness to be inhabited. And it is precisely about this state that this article proposes to speak. Over the next few reflections, we will discover that access to what he calls the "Kingdom of Heaven" is not related to a place, a future time, or a post-mortem reward, but rather much closer than we imagine.

Welcome!

The Alchemical Laboratory is officially open.

Dismantling Limiting Beliefs: "Happiness Is Not of This World."

Before we begin to speak directly about the Kingdom of Heaven, I would like to bring up a phrase that, from my point of view, has become very well-known — especially within the Spiritist doctrine. And here I make an important point: we have no religious affiliation. We respect all doctrines, paths, and belief systems. Our only mission is to seek the right and very true truth, presenting it neutrally, so that each person can make their own reflections, evaluations, and, when necessary, break beliefs and dogmas.

The phrase I am referring to is this: "happiness is not of this world."

Within many Spiritist contexts, this idea has been presented as if happiness were reserved only for the afterlife, the moment when we leave the physical world, the material density, or this earthly dimension in which we are incarnated, to be found in another time, another plane (or planet).

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Problem with This Belief

The problem is that this view ends up generating a deep and silent belief in many people — not only within Spiritism, but in general — that we are not born to be happy in this life, and that to achieve this state, we must do or have certain behaviors to receive the reward at the end. As if suffering were an inevitable condition of incarnation. And this, like any other belief of this type, is a limiting and erroneous belief.

Yes, it is true that this third dimension is challenging. Matter is dense. This plane is, in fact, the alchemical athanor, the furnace where we all incarnate to carry out processes of purification and transmutation of consciousness. We are here to learn, to refine, to evolve, so that, upon leaving this plane, we can access higher stages of consciousness, but this does not mean that we are condemned to suffering, nor limited to living permanently in dense vibrational frequencies; on the contrary.

✨ The True Mission of Master Jesus

Today, from the level of consciousness I am at — knowing, with humility, that there is still much to be understood and integrated — I can still look at the mission of Master Jesus in a special way: that He came to teach us how to go through this process of self-transmutation without suffering.

This is not about blind resignation, nor about passively accepting pain as if it were an inevitable destiny, because that is also a limiting belief. That also imprisons.

We were born to be happy, and that is exactly what the Master insists on showing us when He speaks about the Kingdom of Heaven. This Kingdom is not a distant place nor a future promise; it is a profound metaphor for a state accessible even in this life.

And that's what we're going to delve into from here on out.

Today, we're going to debunk the belief that happiness is not of this world — and understand, in the light of alchemy and the teachings of Sananda, how to access the Kingdom of Heaven here and now.

The Teaching of Letter 2: Blessed.

To understand how to access the Kingdom of Heaven, let's begin by presenting a teaching from Letter 2, in which Master Sananda uses a simple yet profound metaphor to reveal this reality.

While walking through the fields, sharing his lessons with the people, he sought, above all, to help them understand the truth about what he called the "Kingdom of Heaven," and then says:

๐Ÿ’Ž The Blessedness of the Pure in Heart

"The most blessed of all are the pure in heart, because these have rid themselves of all anger, hatred, revenge, malice, envy, and hardness of heart. They stand before the world as Love-made-visible. These will know the reality called 'God' and will know that this reality is the 'Father' within them."

Here, the Master makes it clear that purity of heart is not related to external morality or human perfection, but to an internal process of emptying the emotional densities that obscure consciousness. When these layers are dissolved, love becomes visible, not as a concept, but as a state of being.

๐ŸŒ Where Is the Kingdom of Heaven?

Then He asks:

"How can I help you see this great truth? How can I help you see the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God?"

And the answer He offers breaks, once again, one of humanity's greatest conditionings:

"You don't need to keep looking at the sky, because that's not where you'll see the Father's activity so clearly that it reinforces your faith."

"You won't find the Father above you, somewhere in the sky. The Father is not in any special place, but everywhere, around and in everything."

This statement completely dismantles the idea of a Kingdom of Heaven located outside of human experience. What He points out is that the Kingdom reveals itself when consciousness is purified, when the heart becomes light, when the dense is transmuted into the subtle. The "Father" is not an external destination; it is an internal and omnipresent reality, accessible to those who walk the path of inner alchemy.

๐Ÿ”‘ The Key to Understanding

He begins by stating, within his discourse on the beatitudes, that the most blessed are the pure in heart, and he makes a connection between what it means to be pure in heart: it is not a peaceful, naive, or extremely sentimental person, but one who has freed themselves from that list of negative feelings such as anger, hatred, revenge, malice, and envy. All of that has been transmuted, cleansed from within the heart. These people, "love made visible," are closer to their true reality, to their essence, which is the very Creative Source.

These are the people he says in the Sermon on the Mount will see the kingdom of God or will "see God." But they will not see Him by looking upwards or after leaving the material plane, but here and now.

So, when we hear that "happiness is not of this world," it doesn't mean you need to go to another life, to another dimension, to another planet, to some other place to find that happiness. That's a lie. It means that happiness is not in the external world.

Happiness is here and now, accessible to everyone.

It is not a condition of space (where).

It is not a condition of time (when).

It is in the inner presence – in the inner world.

How will you enter the kingdom of heaven? Let's look at two parables where the Master leads the way there.

First Parable: The Woman and the Lost Coin.

๐Ÿ“– The Story

"When you enter the Kingdom of God, you feel good. You feel happy and joyful."

To make this clear, He uses a simple, everyday, profoundly human parable:

"Imagine a woman who loses a large sum of money and begins to wonder how she will feed her children. She cries as she sweeps the house in despair, so meticulous that she leaves not a single speck of dust. Then, hidden in a dark corner, she finds a valuable piece of silver. Instantly, her tears dry. She begins to smile, feels alive, and so full of joy that she runs to invite her neighbors to celebrate with a party. She thought she had lost everything, and now she finds herself rich again."

And then He concludes, bringing the central teaching of the metaphor:

"This is how it is when they find the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God. In place of tears and fears, hunger and sickness, they find the peace, joy, abundance, and health of the Kingdom of God. And they will never again experience any kind of need."

๐Ÿ”ฎ The Profound Meaning

This parable is extremely revealing. The Kingdom of Heaven is not described as something distant, abstract, or unattainable; it is described as an immediate change of inner state. External reality does not necessarily change in the same instant, but perception changes completely.

Fear gives way to trust.

Scarcity gives way to abundance.

Pain gives way to joy.

The woman did not find something new outside of herself — she found something that was already there, hidden in a dark corner. The same is true of the Kingdom of God. It does not arise from the outside. It is revealed when we do internal cleansing, when we sweep away the dense layers, when we illuminate what was forgotten, repressed, or hidden within us.

And when this Kingdom is found, according to the Master, something fundamental happens: the experience of need dissolves. Not because life ceases to present challenges, but because consciousness begins to operate from another center — a center of fullness, trust, and connection with the Source.

Second Parable: The Merchant and the Perfect Pearl.

๐Ÿ“– The Story

The Master then gives a second example, revealing another facet of access to the Kingdom of God. He says:

"The Kingdom of God can also be compared to a very rich man, a pearl merchant. Throughout his life, he longed to find a special pearl, one that would outshine all others. A perfect, flawless pearl that would make him the envy of all other merchants. One day, he found this pearl. Beautiful beyond imagination, more perfect than all the others. So he sold everything he owned, abandoned everything he had accumulated to buy that pearl. And he was happy beyond all dreams."

๐Ÿ’Ž The Symbolism of the Pearl

Here, the Master reveals something fundamental. This man doesn't sell everything because he is forced to. He sells everything with joy. Because, at that moment, he recognizes that all the things he previously valued — his richly decorated house, his possessions, his way of life, the abundance of food and drink — lose their meaning in the face of that priceless treasure.

And what is this pearl?

It symbolizes the knowledge that leads to the Kingdom of God, a state of consciousness in which happiness ceases to depend on the external world. A state of mind that cannot be disturbed by the annoyances, worries, and instabilities of material life.

๐ŸŒŸ The Final Revelation

The Master is then clear:

"The Kingdom of God is within you. You enter the Kingdom of God when you fully realize that the Father is always active in you."

Once again, He reinforces that it is not a place, but a state of mind. A state in which one recognizes that the reality behind and within all visible things is the Father — beautiful, perfect, and present.

Sananda makes this even more explicit when he states that everything contrary to the nature of the Creative Source — everything that is not harmony, abundance, beauty, fullness, and health — does not come from the Father, but is merely a creation of misguided human thought. They are projections. Illusions. False beliefs sustained by a mind disconnected from the Truth.

⚡ The Transformation of Perception

In other words: suffering is not a fact of reality, it is a misinterpretation of reality.

From the moment this understanding is established with absolute certainty — not as a concept, but as an integrated truth — it becomes a rock, something insurmountable within our consciousness.

No illusion, no thought contrary to the nature of the Source, no narrative of the world, has the power to shake the happiness that arises from it.

Living in Two Worlds Simultaneously.

It is at this point that Sananda reveals something profoundly advanced: the human being is capable of inhabiting two worlds simultaneously, just as he himself lived.

Embodied in the material world, present in physicality, but not belonging to this world. He was here, but he inhabited the "Kingdom of Heaven" all the time — that is, he was in a state of unconditional joy and happiness. Everything he taught was to show that this state was not exclusive, but available to all.

๐ŸŒŠ The Inner Source of Abundance

When, as in the first parable, we place our happiness in things that can come and go, we are shaken. Because everything external is impermanent. But when we recognize that within us is the Source that supplies all needs, something changes radically. We begin to understand that we can enjoy everything — yes — as long as we are connected to the Kingdom of Heaven within us.

Because abundance does not come from the outside in.

It never has.

It has always come from the inside out.

It all begins at this point of silent, unwavering conviction: I am happy – not because something happened, but because I recognized who I am and where everything truly comes from.

Unconditional Happiness: The True Meaning.

In other words: the more you nourish yourself from the Creative Source, the less you depend on the world to feel fulfilled.

You begin to let go of control.

You stop living under false expectations and allow happiness to emerge without external cause.

That is unconditional happiness.

๐ŸŽฏ What It Really Means

And here it's crucial to understand the true meaning of this word.

Being unconditionally happy doesn't mean everything is comfortable. It means you don't place conditions on being happy.

You don't need to:

achieve something,

receive praise,

be approved,

control results,

or expect the other person to change.

You simply decide to be happy.

You wake up and say: "Today is the happiest day of my life." And you live exactly with that state of mind.

✨ The Practice of Presence

It doesn't matter if you're going to work after taking three different modes of transport, or if you're going to the beach on the weekend, the inner feeling is always the same: fullness.

It doesn't matter if someone you love is sick, or if you're celebrating a birthday. You are at peace. Present. Whole. In any situation.

Because you have understood that everything is perfect.

✨ Dissolving the Belief: "Nothing Is Perfect"

And here we need to break another deeply ingrained belief:

"Oh, nothing is perfect. Nobody is perfect."

That's a lie.

๐ŸŒŸ Everything Is Perfect

What is not perfect is our judgment. It is the arrogance of the Ego that fragments reality, that points out flaws, that creates resistance and lives in war with reality. When you enter into true acceptance — not resignation, but the modesty to admit that we spend most of our time acting like spoiled, controlling children in our daily lives — you access happiness spontaneously because you know that the universe is perfect in every detail and that everything happens for the best.

๐Ÿ•Š️ Freedom from the Ego

At this point, you cease to be a plaything of the Ego:

you don't cling,

you don't reject,

you don't try to control life.

You simply inhabit the now and begin to act from it, from what "is" and not from what you think "should be."

Conclusion: The Kingdom of Heaven Is Here.

And then we finally understand what Jesus meant from the beginning:

Happiness is not of any world or dimension outside of us (it is not in the third, and it will not be in the fourth, fifth, etc.).

The Kingdom of Heaven is not external, it is not a physical place.

It is not after death.

It's not another plane.

It's a State of Consciousness, a decision you make to Be Happy here and now.

Unified with the Whole.

If you can't access this state here, it's no use transporting yourself to any place in the cosmos in search of feeling good.

So confidently declare: "I am Unconditionally Happy!" and see what happens.

๐Ÿง™‍♀️ The Alchemical Laboratory remains open.

The path is laid out. The tools are available. Now, it's up to each of us to make the choice: continue searching for happiness out there, or recognize that it has always been here, inside, waiting to be discovered.
