The WICCA FAITH & I.

The Religion/Faith of Witches.
The WICCA FAITH is a Neopagan (non-Christian)
Polytheistic Religion (believing in several Gods) created in the
1950s by British Anthropologist, Philosopher & Witch Gerald Gardner. It
is believed that its creation was linked to his great friend, also British,
the Hermetic Occult Wizard and founder of the Hermetic Order Golden
Dawn and the philosophy of Thelema, Aleister Crowley. However, there are no
reliable references to confirm this theory. WICCA is a Faith/Religion
branched off from the Faith/Religion of Druidism, the oldest Faith/Religion
in the world - the Religion of the oldest people in the world, the Celtic
people. It was recognized as a Religion in the 1980s. Therefore, it is
considered the Religion of Witches. Therefore, ALL Wiccans are
Witches, but not all Witches are Wiccans. And the Wiccan Faith is just a
planet in the Witchcraft Galaxy within the Magic Universe. ✨
Wiccan & Non-Wiccan Witchcraft.
Like every Faith/Religion, WICCA has a Doctrine & Philosophy, and
its temples, the so-called COVENS, which are normally composed of 12
participants plus the 13th, who is the Priest or Priestess of the Coven.
Like every temple, it has its rules. But the Witch is not obliged to join a
Coven, and can follow his path in a ‘Solitary’ way, which we call a
Solitary Witch. In my opinion, the Witches considered
Non-Wiccans
preferred not to follow a religion, perhaps because of the impression that
it can indoctrinate and fill life with rules. Because in terms of Principle,
Law & Rituals, many Non-Wiccan Witches follow the same philosophy as the
Wiccan Faith. Many Non-Wiccan Witches call themselves
Natural Witches who follow the philosophy of Natural Witchcraft, but
are there Artificial Witches & Artificial Witchcraft?
Witchcraft is Natural and all Witches are Natural Witches.
Threefold Law, Philosophy and Principles of the Wiccan Faith.
The Wiccan Faith is free. Its philosophy is Witchcraft. Its doctrine is its
Law and Principle.
Its Law is the Threefold Law: ‘Everything goes and returns 3 times,
whether good or bad’. Its Principle: ‘Without harming anything or anyone,
do what you will.’ - and this Principle should be followed by all Witches, because that is
what Witchcraft is - good through the MAGIC of the powers of
Our Great Mother Nature Gaia. Those who do evil are not Witches -
much less do they know what Witchcraft is. And MAGIC is something good, it
is for the good. If it is used for the opposite purpose, it is NOT MAGIC.
Therefore, I do not believe in black magic. In addition to being an
offensive word to the Black Community, as it gives the impression that Black
is something bad - when it is exactly the opposite. We are Human Beings. As
Scott Cunningham, a great North American writer and Wiccan Witch, said:
‘MAGIC is the Blossoming of the Essential Nature of Living Beings (ALL of
Them)’. 🦇
My Journey in the Wicca Faith.
My name is Thali Sampaio, I am a Veterinary Doctor, Microbiologist,
Chiropterologist, Alchemist, Herbologist and Natural Therapist. I am a Gypsy
Wiccan Hekatine Cernnunian WITCH, because I honor the Triple Goddess
Hekate (Moon Goddess - Greco-Roman Pantheon) and the Horned God Cernnunos
(Sun God - Celtic Pantheon).
I was born a WITCH. I come from a family of Witches. My maternal
great-grandmother is a Christian Healer WITCH; my maternal grandmother is a
Shamanic Umbanda Spiritist Christian WITCH; my mother is a Gypsy Christian
WITCH; and my father is a Kardecist Umbanda Spiritist Christian WITCH - all
Christians. So yes, there are Christian Witches.
There is WITCHCRAFT in CHRISTIANITY. Why not?
My Own Eclectic Path:
But I found myself in the WICCA FAITH (I don't like to call it a
religion) during my adolescence, where I identified with its doctrine and
philosophy, through the 'Wicca Almanac' that I received every year
from my Father. As my professional training says, I have always had a
connection with Our Great Mother Nature Gaia and her alchemies. And then, in
2018, I delved into the studies of the FAITH in a self-taught way and thus
became a WICCA, internalizing its doctrine and Polytheistic Pagan
philosophy. I created my own path, eclectic, without prejudice, arrogance
and financial ends. I founded the
Wicca Wisdom Family
Group, where I share my learning, knowledge and thus, the wisdom that I
acquired throughout my journey in the FAITH - and that I am still
ALWAYS searching for.
My Personal Beliefs and Values:
I have found a path that resonates with My Personal and Professional Beliefs
and Values, being able to honor My Family Roots and the diversity of
traditions. The Wiccan Faith values harmony with our great
Mother Nature Gaia and the practice of a Spirituality that seeks
good, respecting individual freedom and personal beliefs. The diversity of
beliefs within the Universe of Witchcraft and Spirituality is rich
and complex. The Wiccan Faith offers space for those who seek connection
with our great Mother Nature Gaia and the Gods, while others may
prefer to approach their practices in a more solitary and/or eclectic way.
This eclectic approach, without prejudice and with a commitment to
continuous learning, is a reflection of the essence of
Wiccan Spirituality. In addition, it is very interesting to note the
importance of the figure of the Goddess and God in its practice.
I can say that, with My Life Story, the Wiccan Faith saved my
life. It gave me the freedom to follow my own spiritual path, and hope that,
just have FAITH (whatever it may be) and believe in your principles, that
MAGIC will materialize in the BEING that you are - in Your
Essential. My Gods and Protectors ALWAYS... 🧙♀️
