The Kybalion Lesson 2: Hermetic Laws in Practice.

Hi everyone! I'm back with my beautiful pink spaceship! Yay... 🤩

As promised in the previous class, I brought here a review of the book The Kybalion, which I wrote on my other blog a while ago. At the time I wrote this article I understood more of the theoretical part. Later, over time I started putting it into practice... Of course, I learned some things, others not so much. Last year, Gaby (@QuanticWitch) invited me to participate in a study group about this book and we started studying one law per month. That's when I realized that I used a lot of things consciously, others unconsciously... In other words, I realized how the principles were acting in my life, making everything go wrong and other times right.

That's what it's all about! Let's read it then? 🙃

"Only those who have been specially prepared to receive the Precepts it conveys will pay attention to this book. And, reciprocally, when the student is prepared to receive the truth, this book will also appear to him. This is the Law. The Hermetic Principle of Cause and Effect, in its aspect as the Law of Attraction, will bring the ears to the lips and the book to the disciple. That is how atoms are!" (The Caibalion)

The Caibalion is an initiatory book, which will only become clear to those who are prepared to read it. (So, I am here to help you. Remember that I was not prepared the first time I read it? I was only halfway through. 😅)

If you are in the process of awakening and understand the basics of the Law of Attraction, spirituality and quantum physics, this book will bring you important reflections.

Because it is an initiatory book, The Caibalion is not a reading that will bring you many conclusive answers. Your study will show you the way, so that your own Divine Spark can bring you the answers. I will share here the answers/interpretations that made sense to me.

The Caibalion - A Secret and Forbidden Book

The Caibalion is a mysterious book with no defined author, signed only by "The 3 Initiates". Through its content, it is possible to learn a summary of the Hermeticism of Hermes Trismegistus and the main Hermetic laws. There are 7 principles that govern life and our universe, whose understanding allows us to use superior laws to circumvent inferior laws. In other words, you learn to surf the wave, instead of being drowned by the tide.

In the past, the study of Hermeticism was prohibited by the Catholic Church, and anyone who did so was burned at the stake by the Inquisition. This is understandable, because by understanding the Hermetic laws, people could find God within themselves, and would live prepared to face the pendulum of life. All of this would end the power of the church over the population. Nowadays, we must be grateful for the possibility of studying the contents of this book without any impediment or punishment. Until recently, only a few secret organizations had access to this book. This explains the prosperity acquired by its members, which comes from the knowledge and respect of the laws of God, called by the book "The Whole". ✨

Who was Hermes Trismegistus?

Hermes Trismegistus was a great master of Ancient Egypt, considered the father of the Occult Science, the founder of Astrology and the discoverer of Alchemy. (I know that many people are afraid of this word, Occult/Occultism. People, occult only means hidden, nothing more. Because it was something that the church did not allow people to study, but the church knew about it and used it on people. 🙈)

The details about his life were lost over time. However, the value of his teachings led to his being deified by the Egyptians and Greeks. Being considered a master of wisdom, he received the title of "Trismegistus" from Hermes, which means the three times great.

Even today, the term hermetic is used to define something that is secret and perfectly closed. Even now, with the free dissemination of The Caibalion, few people will be interested in reading it, or the ability to understand the power of its teachings. This shows that the secret remains perfectly "closed", being revealed only to the chosen ones.

What are the 7 Hermetic Laws?

"The Principles of Truth are Seven; he who knows them perfectly, possesses the Magic Key with which all the Doors of the Temple can be completely opened." - THE CAIBALION ✨

💁‍♀️ The Seven Principles on which the entire Hermetic Philosophy is based are the following:

1 - The Principle of Mentalism

Which states that the Universe is mental. The Whole is mind/consciousness. 🧠✨

We can perceive this law in the following way... It is as if we were thoughts in the mind of God and the Whole. Everything is mental, all creation is... We are original creations of the mind/consciousness of a Higher Self. Our Higher Self is the creation of a consciousness "superior" to it, and so on infinitely. The whole explanation, in fact, is much more complex. We can write an article just about monads etc... (It probably won't be this author here.)

Our creations work in a similar but different way. They are also created in our minds. First, we create them in the vortex, then the wave function collapses. There is a whole system for that to receive energy and finally materialize.

In the next class, we will talk about this principle in more detail. I will explain how this co-creation happens in our minds.

So, it's that simple, thought exists! That's what we need to understand and assimilate. When we are outside of the material experience, things are created in a similar way. Gods create universes this way. The original substance of everything is the consciousness of the Whole/Creative Source.

2 - The Principle of Correspondence

As above, so below: Here you can reference my article from the previous class. I was attracting how I felt, what was hidden deep in my heart. I created according to the subconscious belief of what I believed was possible in my life. Things only as big as the Matrix showed I deserved and could achieve. I didn't co-create what I affirmed, wanted or desired. Instead of creating with God's help, I created by the ego. Always within the programming inserted by others, or fed by my experiences and traumas.

As above, so below: here we can reference what I said about the universe being mental. The creational system here is similar to the system outside of here. Only here things take a while to descend, to materialize, but there it is a little faster. (Of course, I don't know exactly... Because I'm not there, I'm here, but that's how I understood it. Okay? 👍)

3 - The Principle of Vibration

Which says that everything is energy, everything vibrates and we attract what we vibrate. This is similar to the Law of Attraction. Understanding this principle is important mainly because Thoughts generate feelings and feelings generate energy. This resulting energy is the most important ingredient in Alchemy. We don't materialize anything just with empty words spoken to the wind. Do you understand? Here is the secret of the Wave Function Collapse. ⚛️

4 - The Principle of Polarity

I told you a little bit about this in the previous article... Everything is two poles of the same thing. Love and Hate are one thing experienced at different ends. The center is unconditional love, unhealthy love goes beyond that. Hate, on the other hand, can only exist because we first love a lot. Be it a cause, an idea or a person we are disappointed with, all hate comes from love. 💔

5 - The Principle of Rhythm

Simply put, it means that the universe is always shaking people up. So that we can evolve and not remain still like a frog in a pond. However, we can use the higher laws to reach a mental state where the Pendulum will not take us with it. By perceiving everything from a broader perspective, we lose our identification with problems. We accept challenges as part of the flow of life, guiding us to learning and evolution. Thus, we do not feed the storm and live lightly. ⛵

6 - The Principle of Cause and Effect

Example: everything we do comes back. Everything we wish on others comes back. If we are angry with a famous person, for example, someone we don't even know... We will be sending anger to that person and committing a mental sin. Because this will influence bad things to happen to that person. It depends, if the person is vibrating well nothing will happen, but if they are vibrating badly (resonating with that), it will affect them. Regardless of whether something happens or not, this energy comes back to you through energetic karma. Thoughts also have karma. 💀

7 - The Principle of Gender

This one is not related to sexual gender. It says that everything has a feminine and masculine side. This can be analyzed from atoms, cells and the universe. Let's focus here on how we can use this law in relation to our brain and the Law of Attraction.

The Subconscious is our Feminine, and the Conscious is our Masculine. The Subconscious (feminine, passive, intuitive and creative) receives the implementation of what our Conscious (masculine, active, rational and objective) desires/believes. I think it's interesting to emphasize that every human being, regardless of gender, has these two energies. It is important for the future alchemist that both are in balance. Without these two forces, generation and materialization will not occur easily.

Another interesting detail is that there are many Biblical parables that mention the law of Gender. Strangely enough, they are misinterpreted by the church. The occultism of the Bible has been distorted, generating the polarization of Yin and Yang energy. Possibly, to disempower us in the face of the magic of life. (Really? Keep that flea in your ear.) That's why I try not to talk in a slur. Enough of Hiding God's Laws! 💃
