The Key to Consciousness is Presence. The Key to Time is Frequency.
Is there a point at which the state of presence ceases to be
an exercise and becomes our natural frequency? How do we recognize
this transition?
This was one of the questions asked during a class at the
Universidade Cósmica
(Cosmic University). The answer leads us through a profound reflection on
presence, consciousness, time, and reality, showing that living in the
Now doesn't mean never thinking about the past or the future again, but
developing a completely different relationship with them.
Presence as second nature.
There is, indeed, a moment when the state of presence ceases to be merely a practice and becomes something natural. However, this transition doesn't happen absolutely.
Even people who remain in a deep state of presence most of the time still transition, at certain moments, between memories of the past and projections for the future. Perhaps this happens for only a few minutes during the day, perhaps it represents only a small percentage of the time, but it still happens.
This is part of the human experience.
We live in a multidimensional reality, yet still organized within the perception of linear time. Therefore, there are naturally times when the mind uses the past and future to make choices, take decisions, or organize certain actions.
The difference lies in how this happens.
From discipline to habit
Initially, being present requires intention. Like any new habit, it requires practice.
It's similar to starting a physical exercise routine: even though it's enjoyable, it still requires commitment until it stops depending on willpower and becomes part of one's identity. The same thing happens with presence.
What initially seems like an exercise becomes, over time, second nature.
Using the past and future without being bound by them
Being present doesn't mean completely ignoring the past and future. They can serve as references. The challenge is not to turn them into prisons.
Past, present, and future are deeply intertwined. They are not fixed and immutable structures. Depending on the beliefs held, different possibilities become accessible.
When we only use past experiences or future expectations to make decisions, there is a risk of reproducing old programs that no longer serve our consciousness. Even with countless references, it's important to remember that the possibilities remain infinite.
Common sense remains essential for staying grounded and making conscious choices, but remaining stuck only in the known can prevent access to the great opportunities that reside precisely in the unknown.
Trust is also part of the journey
If a choice generates a positive result, it will bring growth.
If it generates a difficult result, it will bring learning.
In both cases, there is evolution.
The past can also be given new meaning.
Just as the future is malleable, so can the past.
Various studies on regression, hypnosis, and timelines demonstrate that a past experience can be energetically transformed through consciousness. When someone internally relives a particular situation and consciously recreates that experience from a new energetic perspective, a new organization of the field can occur.
During the class, a case study presented by a hypnotherapist was cited: A client sought help after months of not speaking to a close friend, following an argument that led to a profound estrangement between them. Throughout the hypnosis sessions, they symbolically reconstructed the entire experience, modifying the dialogue, the energy, and the way the encounter had happened.
After this process, the client felt ready to seek out his friend and apologize.
Upon meeting him, he heard an unexpected response:
— "Apologies for what? Nothing happened between us."
The friend simply no longer remembered the argument.
In that client's perception, the experience had been so profoundly reorganized that a new timeline seemed to have been established for both of them. Regardless of how each person interprets this phenomenon, the example illustrates the power of awareness in reinterpreting one's own reality.
Modifying our perception of time.
Another important aspect of presence is its direct relationship with time.
The greater the state of presence, the more easily we perceive that time is malleable: It can seem to expand or compress. This perception is linked to the frequency in which we find ourselves.
One of the most important syntheses presented during the class was this:
The key to stretching or compressing time is frequency. The key to perceiving its horizontality is presence.
When awareness and frequency walk together, our relationship with time begins to change. Not because the clock changes, but because the way we experience reality transforms.
Frequency, emotions and time perception
When we observe scales of consciousness, such as the Hawkins Scale or the Agatha Scale, we realize that each emotion corresponds to a specific vibrational level (in hertz). The lower the emotional frequency, the more difficult it becomes to perceive the flexibility of time.
This explains very common situations: When we are in an unpleasant commitment, wishing it would end soon, time seems to drag on. When we are under pressure, afraid of not being able to meet an important deadline, time seems to slip quickly through our hands.
In both cases, there is a similar sensation, where time seems to act against what we desire. On the other hand, when we are in elevated emotional states, something different happens.
Even in challenging situations, we manage to remain productive, ideas flow, insights appear, conversations become deeper, tasks seem to happen more naturally... At times, there is even a feeling that there was more time available than actually existed on the clock.
In elevated states of presence, time often continues to pass quickly, the difference is that it ceases to be wasted. There is a feeling of fullness; each moment seems more complete, and the experience becomes richer. The clock continues to mark the same minutes, but consciousness lives much more within them.
An example of expanding temporal perception
During the class, an experience previously shared by a student was recalled.
Upon entering the shower, she set a very specific intention: to experience a different perception of time. During the shower, she had the clear sensation of remaining there for approximately twenty minutes. When she got out, she checked the clock: only five minutes had passed.
The experience occurred immediately after entering a state of presence and consciously establishing this intention.
A potential that has always existed.
These possibilities didn't just emerge now.
Consciousness has always had access to these nuances of temporal experience. What is changing is the number of people who are beginning to experience these states directly.
This is happening due to the growth of self-knowledge, inner work, activations of consciousness, and the gradual increase in collective frequency. At the same time, Gaia is also undergoing its own process of vibrational expansion.
Therefore, experiences related to presence, the malleability of time, and a broader perception of reality tend to become increasingly frequent. Not because they were impossible before, but because they are now becoming more accessible to those who truly walk the path of awakening consciousness.
🤍 Gratitude and see you soon...
